Mom wanted to laugh, and M was working off what we had watched last week, so he looked up comedies by Robert Zemeckis and came up with this. Mom's really not a fan of animation, but we convinced her this film was funny and groundbreaking. She enjoyed it, and I enjoyed the rewatch. We also reminisced about Bob Hoskins and how wonderful he is. With all the CGI in movies now, this movie really holds up as the first major studio film where actors are working with nothing as their costars. It's great to see the mix of all the different cartoon characters together at the end.

Got my second massage from D this afternoon and it was great! She really digs in, which I like. She also stretches my legs during the massage, which is really good for me. Mom has booked her for the entire month of December. Then she found another person to try out at the beginning of January. Great!

J couldn't come because he wasn't feeling well, so Mom came by at lunch. I've been getting an eyepatch on my left eye to force my lazy right eye to work a little harder. I've had double vision for a couple of years now, and forcing my right eye to work harder has been helping when I remove the eyepatch. I hope that after a few months of this, I will only use the patch occasionally and maybe, eventually, never! I've got a ways to go until then.

Dr. R and Freddie came for their last visit this year. Dr. R will be going out of the country to visit her brother and sister-in-law. She's been putting Freddie on my bed, and he seems to be tolerating lying on the bed for a few minutes before he charges back to the stroller. Dr. R even got a lovely photo with him next to me! She was bummed they would be gone for a couple of weeks, just went Freddie was getting used to the routine. Oh well, such is life.

I finally finished and posted an essay for this month. It won't be long until I need to post another essay. I want to explain things like my super pubic catheter, and I'm thinking I should make that my essay so I get it done. I can write the essay and then include it in the My Tips & Tricks section as well.
Mom also came by for lunch. I was contemplating having her get something at Diamond Head Grill, but I also didn't want to spend too much money, so I was good and just ate the lunch from the hospital. Frugal choice, but boring.

Mom and my sister were at a relative's baby shower today. I would have been there if it weren't for being in the middle of the day in Kaneohe. Hot! That's the kind of thing where I would love to say hi and then get the hell out of there. So, not worth it to show up, as far as I am concerned. I'm wondering what it says about me that I'm not terribly concerned about not showing up. I'm getting very selfish in my invalid old age.
I didn't do much of anything the whole day. I started going through my checking account and making sure the charges were on my actual charges spreadsheet. My sister had put in charges that rounded to the nearest dollar. I like being precise with the amount because you can more easily match it to the charge. Also, why not have the exact amount when you're doing a spreadsheet of the actual charges?
I ended up calling Apple Accessibility Support because I wanted to talk to them about the Apple Pencil. Apple support people have always been helpful, and they don't mind just shooting the shit with you. I always talk about my website, and this latest person, who was in Atlanta, Georgia, seemed like she was genuinely interested. You never know…

My sister went to Whole Foods, and they had the nerve to have no sushi whatsoever because they were cleaning out all the refrigerators in that area. My sister got me some Chesapeake Bay shrimp salad from the Prepared Foods section. That's right! I had gotten food from there before I discovered how much I love sushi. I think I should alternate between prepared foods and sushi so I can have variety in my life. Perfect!
We watched three episodes of South Park back to back. Very funny. When you don't have much going for you politically, you take the wins where you can get them.
This week’s cover photo is Freddie snuggled on my bed, resting against my arm. I love it when I can be close to a kitty body! This looks very similar to some of the shots we got when he was much smaller and didn't mind being on my bed. I like that he knows me and likes being near me! Have a fabulous week!
