Monday, February 2nd
So we were just one Monday into our new movie selection process. M's choices were: The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, The Last Detail, and this movie. M’s description of this movie intrigued Mom and I so we went with it. This 1973 film by Peter Yates stars Robert Mitchum, Peter Boyle, and Richard Jordan. It's a crime drama that sounded better than it turned out to be. I've definitely had fun with some of M’s pics, but this one was a dud in my opinion. It was wordy and hard to follow. Not a lot of action. I'm gonna go with the known quantity next time.
Tuesday, February 3rd
OK, both my masseuses have names that begin with D, so I'm not sure how to distinguish between the two of them. Today was the newer lady who only massaged me once before in the chair. Today I was in bed. She did a fine job. She kept asking me if there was anything else I wanted done. I couldn't think of anything, so I guess I'm fine for now. I did like her, and I'm looking forward to getting to know her over time.
Wednesday, February 4th
J couldn't come today, and I honestly forgot if Mom did. Nothing much happened this week, and I did not make any notes on the week, so now I'm forgetting. I feel very blah about writing a blog for this week. Go back to a week where a lot happened if you want to read something interesting.
Thursday, February 5th
Dr. R came alone because Freddie did not want to be caught this morning. So much for having positive associations with sitting in the tent. Oh well. We'll see what happens next week.
Friday, February 6th
I'm sure Mom stopped by for lunch, and other than that, I didn't do much.
Saturday, February 7th
My sister came by with the usual sushi. She got a Salmon Poke bowl that I would have liked to have tried, but I was good about raw fish, so I didn't. We finished Seven Dials on Netflix, which was good. It still strikes me as a little bit odd that the actors who were young 30 or 40 years ago are all old now! Weird how time works.
Sunday, February 8th
Mom didn't stop by today because it was so windy and rainy. She texted me about the school closures and said we would play tomorrow by ear. I texted back that a movie was not worth dying for, so either way works for me. Sorry, this week is so boring. I'll get it together next week. Have a great week!
I sent the blog without talking about the cover photo like I usually do. I didn't have a photo, so I just took a selfie with my new iPad. Fascinating.
